Super Duper Team Dominates CISTM Cyber Showdown Tournament

Super Duper Team ng PLM emerged undefeated at the inaugural “Cyber Showdown: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” Tournament, held at the University Activity Center, Feb. 11.

The battle to the champs started with the Super Duper Team pushing toward Alt+F4’s base, with standout player Gabsu securing key kills, making them one win away from the title.

After minutes of intense battle in the second match, the Super Duper Team ng PLM destroyed the Alt+F4’s base and clinched the final series, 2-0.

Super Duper team captain Brixneil Shafer stayed firm to their game style and heroes they used, but remained adaptable to the draft pick changes without going away from their comfort picks.

As they set the standard for the Cyber Showdown tournament, team captain Brixneil had a message for the CISTM players who will join next year: “Paghandaan na lang siguro nila kasi sasali rin kami,” he said.

Following the intense round-robin group stages, Alt+F4 led Group Alpha (2-1), with Pindot Gaming (2-1) in second place. The undefeated Super Duper Team ng PLM (2-0) led Group Beta, with Blank (1-1) in second place. The top teams from each group advanced to the best-of-three semi-finals.

The Super Duper Team ng PLM earned a prize worth ₱1000.
